A friend introduced me to this book years ago and based on a short reading, I completely changed the way I relate to my walking practice, and specifically how I breathe when I walk. I finally got around to securing my own copy and am so glad I did. I had been incorporating the breathing technique for walking but had left out some of the kundalini kriyas that are super helpful in making this work even more transformative and empowering.

This is a great book. I've incorporated the contents into my everyday life, turning just about every walk I take into a meditative experience. I highly recommend it for anyone looking to integrate meditation into their life beyond the mat.

Some good ideas for using the breath while walking.

Ack! I see what everyone is saying about organization. I thought it couldn't be that bad and people were just being whiny, but it really is hard to use! 5 for content, 2 for the difficulty of extracting a program to use, so 4 overall.

In my opinion, this book is a great choice for those who would like to practise the Breathwalk system - everything is very clearly explained and it is possible to start exercising right away. I have tried some of the methods decribed and found them very appropriate for my situation as I walk for about an hour every day anyway and now I can add some variety and meaning to my habitual activity.

I was looking for a way to improve my base form of exercise. This book has helped me to 1) better understand the process of breathing, 2) how to add that to my walking, 3) understand better what my yoga teachers are talking about. Spending a little money on and time with this book is going to give you a better way to use your walking time.
